This class will focus on strengthening skills for more success in landscape painting with special attention to getting a good start, choosing a subject, simplifying and paint handling. Class will also cover skies and clouds and the effects of light .
Composition, value, light patterns, design,color, and atmospheric perspective wil be covered, along with variations in tools and techniques. Demonstrations, group critique, and lots of personal attention are included.
This workshop will be held outdoors if weather permits, otherwise indoors.
Students may be beginner to advanced. Participants should have a good knowledge of the medium they will use.
