This workshop will concentrate on learning to build solid skills for greater success in landscape painting with attention to the student's goals. Class will cover new ways of thinking about your painting process, paint applicatioin, design, value, color, light patterns and atmospheric perspective for a sense of distance.

Special emphasis will be made on painting skies,clouds, night scenes and sunsets/sunrises.

Demonstrations, critiques, discussion of materials, techniques and personal attention will all be included.

Beginners to landscape painting to advanced are welcome, but students should have a good knowledge of the medium they will use.
